From our very first interaction, the team was incredibly responsive and professional. Owen took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process of setting up our revocable trust and estate plan, ensuring we understood every step before moving forward. They were exceptionally easy to work with, and we loved how convenient they made everything. Much of the preparation and review could be handled directly through their secure document platform, saving us a ton of time and allowing us to take our time to review all the documents in detail at our convenience. What we really appreciated was their attention to detail as we completed the process. Once the trust was established, they not only gave us a binder with hard copies of all our estate documents, but they also provided incredibly detailed, clear instructions on exactly how to manage funding the trust moving forward. Recently, after the passing of my wife of 52 years, I finally decided to set up an estate plan. We recently had the pleasure of working with Opelon LLP in ******** to update our estate plans. We had met with other attorneys prior to selecting Opelon LLP. Prior to any commitment **** provided a document that the original drafting attorney should have provided. The other attorneys we met with reviewed the same documents but failed to identify the issue. This issue demonstrated attention to details and care for potential client. There was always an excellent level of professionalism by all. **** took the time to thoroughly communicate with both of us. He took the time to review our original documents to understand what we wanted to change. What we were impressed with was the draft copy of the trust document identified federal and state laws that were basis of the trust.We would again use Opelon LLP when their type of service is warranted.

Reached out to a number of local firms to have someone review my elderly parents' wills/estates/directives. Many firms did not respond or had no time for us. Opelon got back to us, was friendly and did not want to charge us an exorbitant amount for the work we were requesting. Satisfied Needed a Living Trust. My case had a complication due to the nature of some of my investments. I have real estate investments in Delaware Statuatory Trusts; investing sale proceeds from an apartment building I owned in DSTs has tax advantages. Mr. Rassman explained requirements for transferring my investments into the Living Trust. Especially useful was Rassman's help thinking through distribution of assets to beneficiaries. Living Trust documents professionally prepared and timely completed. Rassman easy to establish a trusting, professional relationship with. He is a good listener; all questions thoughtfully answered. Without qualification, I reccomend Rassman to anyone needing a Living Trust Package (Living Trust, Will, Health Care Directive and Agent for Finances). Living Trusts may need some tinkering over time and I look forward to working with Owen in the future.
